New jacket & dress

Hi,

due to a nice and warm weather we have been walking around the Prague and we went to see the Marian Column Sundial function during the weekend. Hope you will enjoy my outfit with the new jacket. :-)

That was the intention. We just wanted to break the formality of the jacket, which would be too much for a Sunday leisure walk.

The white dots of the dress and the golden buttons of the jacket fit not really together. A jacket with silver buttons may be better.

And BTW, I was wearing the same outfit today at work, the only difference was, that I have changed the white sneakers for more formal dark blue leather pumps to have more business look, because I've had customer presentation.

Hi Hajo,

I don't agree. The jacket it's more like marine uniforms type. The blue and yellow are complementary colors, and this combination is usually used on those jackets. The white buttons would be a disruptive element and would look strange.

The outfit is really great!
It shows your good feeling again to decide right which combinations work and which don't. This one definitely works for me and it's even more amazing for me as I know challenging it can be to combine a jacket made for a man with a dress made for a lady.

Did you really find your way to go to work and have customer contact in such an outfit?
If you did not explain yet how you managed this, would you maybe write an entry about this...?

your outfits are always very stylish. I love them all, especially in combination with your wife.

Besides concerning your Outfits I have a question. Please take a look at this photo from Hungary. Is there a similar traditional costume for men in the Czech Republic? Do you have any further details?
